WHAT: An intermediate 1 night trip to Walls of Jericho on the Alabama/Tennessee border.

Open to all Scouts. Space is limited to 10 people (6-7 Scouts, 3-4 adults)
DEPART: Trip Cancelled due to possible adverse weather
RETURN: Sunday afternoon on Feb 1 to Publix @ Royal Oaks
MEALS:
DISTANCE/ELEVATION: ~6 miles, 1643 ascent, 1639 descent (Note that it’s the elevation that makes this trip an intermediate level.)
Saturday: Breakfast (eat before you come), lunch, dinner
Sunday: Breakfast
COST: $31 for Scouts, $15 for Adults ($16 discount for Scouts using OwnFoodWalls if bringing your own food)

ITINERARY

We’ll drive down to
Walls of Jericho
⁠
on Saturday morning (about a 2 hour drive). We’ll hike ~3 miles down (~1600 ft) into the gorge, setup camp, and hike another mile or two while exploring the gorge & walls. After a breakfast in camp on Sunday morning, we’ll hike the same ~3 miles back up (~1600 ft) and head back up to Franklin.
